Banco Vimenca, once a trusted institution in the Dominican Republic and part of Grupo Vimenca, has suffered a massive data breach.
The IT department and bank employees decided to conceal this data leak, and they are still keeping quiet about the incident.
No public statements have been made by company representatives either.
The following data appeared on the network: more than 190.000 colored scans of the cedulas (dominican ID cards) of the active customers, bank statements of the Vimenca's clients, personal data of almost 700 Vimenca's employees,
NDAs and confidentiality agreements, highly confidential contracts with other banks, partners, clients etc.
