C is nice, but i advise everybody to try python, with the library's and code blocks, its in my opinion so much a such a more versatile programming language, you can download pycharm community edition for free for all your programming and compiling, although c makes for smaller exe i have to admit

python is great, its easy too. but i saw somewhere saying, "python is too versatile, which makes it a bad language." and giving examples such as "yes you can build games with python, but other programming languages are better" and stuff. python is good as a first language tho

I like the fact python has a library for aything, might you need some function, just download and install the python library what is really easy too when you are used to it
