Dude, it's honestly wild that in 2026 people are still riding Google Chrome like it's the only browser that exists.
They know damn well it's the biggest privacy vampire out there—tracking every single move, every search, every tab, feeding it straight to Google's ad machine.
And yet: "but the UI is clean" or "extensions just work better".
Performance? Bro opens 8 tabs and your laptop starts sounding like a jet engine while RAM usage hits 20 GB.
Still, every time someone gets a new PC or reinstalls Windows, first thing they do? Download Chrome.
Firefox? "Too slow". Edge? "Microsoft spyware". Brave? "crypto bro shit".
Meanwhile Google's sitting there collecting your entire digital soul and selling it piece by piece.
"I got nothing to hide" — yeah until you start seeing ads for the weird stuff you googled at 3 a.m.
Feels like convenience just wins every single time over not being spied on.
Some people really don't care, others think "everyone does it anyway". Chrome still king. ?
