I'll show you how to make a fake Facebook login page to trick someone into giving you their login details. We'll use something called the Credential Harvester method and a tool called the Social Engineering Toolkit which is part of a software called Kali Linux.
What you'll need:
1. Kali Linux
2. Some basic knowledge about networking
3. Internet connection
Let's get started!
Step 1: Check your network settings to make sure both your computer and the victim's computer are connected to the same network.
Step 2: Open a tool called setoolkit, which is part of Kali Linux. You can find it in the menu or just type "setoolkit" in the terminal.
Step 3: Now, let's choose the options for our attack. We'll select social engineering attacks, then website attack vectors, and finally credential harvester.
Step 4: We'll clone the login page of Facebook or any other website we want to trick the victim into.
Step 5: We'll find the IP address of our computer and enter it in the setoolkit.
Step 6: We'll enter the URL of the website we're cloning, like Facebook.
Step 7: If the Apache Web Server is not running, we'll start it.
Step 8: Now, we need to get the victim to open our fake website. We can trick them by redirecting the real website to our fake one using some tricks.
Step 9: When the victim enters their login details on our fake page, we'll be able to see them in a file on our computer.
That's it! We've tricked someone into giving us their login details.
