It would be nice if there were some clear rules how to get credits that one can look up. I mean, I guess it's fair that these rules exist, but especially for newcomers, it'd be nice to know how things work.

I'm glad I read this. I didn't understand the way earning credits worked. I definitely don't want to be banned for leaching.

You have to post atleast 10 times first, then you start gaining credits. So essentially you must post 18 times for the first breach.
