Users with Enhanced Protection activated will be asked to input the password for the file.
Google's Safe Browsing feature, which alerts users to unsafe websites and files, will then analyze both the file and password in the cloud for a more comprehensive scan.

Hackers are now turning to encrypted and password-protected files to distribute infostealers and malware, bypassing security measures.

Google Chrome has unveiled a new solution that may not be fancy, but is expected to be efficient.

Was curious about how much Google goes as far as the scan itself, says here that it all gets uploaded to the cloud and their AI systems do a deep scan on them. Seems like a double-edged sword. I feel like there are better options for this kind of stuff, like not using Google Chrome to begin with.
