In February 2025, Renault S.A., a multinational automobile manufacturer based in France with an annual revenue of over $50 billion, suffered a major data breach after the HellCat Ransomware group attacked OneDealer, which led to the exposure of AWS keys that provided access to Renault’s sensitive data. The breach resulted in the leak of over 17 GB of data, including 144,000 files containing critical business information.

Renault, known for its innovation in the automotive sector and partnerships with various global companies, produces cars, trucks, and electric vehicles. The leaked data includes invoices from customers and partners, contracts, and other documents.
