In December 2025, the Loozap, a leading pan-African online classifieds platform was breached by @LAPSUS-GROUP and over 10 million rows were leaked. The exposed data included over 191k unique email addresses, dates of birth, genders, IP addresses, names, phone numbers, profile photos, usernames and SHA1 and bcrypt hashed passwords.

Compromised data: Dates of birth, Email addresses, Genders, IP addresses, Names, Passwords, Phone numbers, Profile photos, Usernames, Website activity
