Back in 2021 a hacker was able to extract more than 200GB of datas from Twitch servers, the datas were including :

- Biggest streamers payouts of 2019, 2020 and 2021 ( from January to September )
- Source codes of the :
    
    - Video tools ( encoder, decoders etc )
    - Security systems
    - Chat systems ( chat servers, events chat messages etc )
    - Subscription systems
    - Moderation tools
    - Twitch SDK

it is used by kick, Stake didn't plan on creating a streaming platform at first, it's only once the leak happened than they "weirdly" released their own ( at the time kick was a copy paste of twitch and it still is today )
