It really is as fun as it looks. I would also highly recommend watching some playthrough from Controlled Pairs Gaming. His commentary will make you start feeling like a tactical mastermind in no time C

Creatures of Sonaria is a good one if you like kaiju's, they have a ridiculous amount of creatures you can play as all with different stats and attacks. Very active community with lots of events and an avid Discord community as well.
